Summer Dad Reminder: Don’t Forget the Sunscreen
Nothing says “summer dad” like loading the wagon with snacks, towels, backup outfits, water bottles, and somehow still forgetting the one thing everyone actually needs.
Sunscreen.
Before the park, pool, beach, baseball game, zoo trip, backyard sprinkler session, or “quick walk” that turns into two hours outside — lather them up.
Because nobody wants to end the day with:
“Dad, my shoulders hurt.”
And nobody wants to be the guy explaining why the toddler looks like a lobster in the family group chat.
Summer Dad Checklist
Sunscreen

Hats

More snacks
The toy they suddenly cannot live without
Your iced coffee, now warm
Apply sunscreen before heading out, reapply often, and remember the easy-to-miss spots: ears, neck, shoulders, tops of feet, and the back of the legs.
Summer memories are better without sunburn.
Dad tip: Keep a small sunscreen stick in the diaper bag, car, or wagon so you always have backup.
